I currently work for several areas of the Instituto de Astrofisica de Canarias (IAC) including Research and Divulgation areas. I am making deep sky images, Astro-TimeLapse, photographs of astronomical observatories, telescopes and everything related to astronomy and astrofotografia.
I previously worked as an observer of OT looking Space Debris (GEO and GTO orbits) and operating the OGS telescope laser for optical communications with satellites (IAC / ESA). Technical Operations before and Telescope at the Observatorio del Teide, IAC.
I am also part of IAC astrophotography group, which let me to use telescopes and instrumentation only available to professional astronomers and researchers for an astronomical image bank for divulgation.
I became interested in astronomy with just 7 years. I kept collectables newspaper about the Universe. I loved watching the galaxies, stars, nebulaes images ...
I began to observe with a telescope from my town (Paterna del Campo) with a small refractor telescope 60mm. I bought my first serious telescope studying in college ; an equatorial mount Celestron C8 GP. With this telescope I began to enter truly in practical astronomy and astrophotography.
Many years later, I bought a portable high-quality instrumental; Losmandy G11 mount, optical TOA130F Takahashi, tracking system SBIG STV Deluxe ... Canon 400D camera and many accessories to complement it.
Thanks for visiting Cielos del Teide!
